Its great to see Irish talent getting international recognition. As someone who works with Declan and knows how passionate he is about his art I reckon he deserves to get this award, So what are you waiting for, get voting!

Yeah, Dec is actually Bosnian so he doesn't count. You going to Bristol Rob?

Yeah just booked my table there last week. Looking forward to it even though its like a busmans holiday. The awards should be a bit of fun.

I put in a vote for Shalvey and Al Nolan for Sancho, hopefully something/someone Irish willl win this time round. Was thinking of voting for Byrne, but I put down Rob Liefeld instead. :P

You better be talking about the Comics Villain nomination for Liefeld, that's all I'll say...

Sancho got short listed and Declan Shalvey won for hero killers so last year wasn't to bad.

I suppose I could agree with that, if the "amazing" is relative to his ability to draw feet...seriously though, stop encouraging him. Nothing good will come of it.

I'm joking, really. I hate the guts out of him, he's got no style whatsoever. Though, as Bob said before, hat off to him for getting this far all those years without anyone noticing the feet problem.
