Anyone remember Nippers? You got them with Maxol petrol back in the mid eighties. Brendan Grace used to do the ads. They came in a cage styled box.
I had the coolest one. It wasn't like your common or garden beige ones. He had wiry dark grey fur. I still have it somewhere (minus the arms which were one piece and slid out, and I thing the squeaker is gone too).

We had a few of the different coloured ones - pink, grey etc and that other one with the dark fur. I think the regular ones came with a carrot and the other one came with a banana? My dad used to get LOADS of the tokens - we had t-shirts and waches of them too.

As an aside, around the time Brendan Grace was doing those ads, his wife had a baby. The headline in the newspaper read something along the lines of Brendan Grace Frees A Nipper:p
