What do you guys think about this?

If you had the special power of reading people's minds, do you think it would be a good or a bad in your life?

Being psychic would be more beneficial. Then I could predict the lotto numbers.

Anyway I mean reading people's mind and not seeing the future...
Gambling and things like these have nothing to do with reading a person's mind when s/he is in front of you..unless you're playing poker :)

But how would that help you win money on a horse? The horse doesn't know he's going to win, and the jockey can't be sure until he's passed the winning post!
Anyway, you can sometimes tell by the look on someone's face what they're thinking, like "She should give that child a good talking to". No, I'd hate if i knew what somebody really thought of my outfit, or my kid's behaviour.

And, Mukki, you'd need to know the questions and have answers prepared before entering the interview room!

Apparently, most Horse Races bar the big ones are fixed. heard that from someone on Horse Racing Circles.:rolleyes:Apparently, it's the only way to stop a few large stables winning everything, gives the small breeders a chance.

Sometimes I get a tiny bit paranoid that people can read my mind and the whole "I wish I could read minds" thing is a coverup created by the entire population just to make me think nobody can. >_>

i think that power could be dangerous.. you might find out things you would rather kept secret. like for instance what people really think of you but then again you will always know who your real friends are .

and you would discover your friends fetish for feet *shifty eyes*

Yeah me too. Wait, maybe your post is part of the same conspiracy so that I feel less paranoid about it.

You've been caught, don't even try to lie about it.

I think it would be fun. Work would be so much easier, I would never have to take another order again :D

On a more serious note, if I could, would I be able to turn it ona nd off, I wouldn't want to be like Mel Gibson in What Women Want where he always hears what women are thinking. Superman needs a break.

I'd hate to know what goes on in other people's minds and I'm much too curious so it would be bad in my life.

I think it'd be useful if you could turn it on/off at will.
