US tourist Visas??

    Hi,

    I really want to go to Maui (Hawaii) for about a year. However I'm confused about visas. Is it possible to get a long term tourist visa to the States.

    I will be able to fund it , hopefully, I can work over the net p/time.

    Has anyone ever done this sort of thing before?

    Any help would be great.

    Do you qualify for USIT?

    A tourist visa to the US is only 90 days, i dont believe there is any way to get a longer one unless you are studying there.

    You can get a J1 visa i believe but you need to be under 26 and if im correct a full time student.
