playing .avi files?

    can i get a converter so can play em through itunes or media player?

    you need to install a codec, so that any program will play them back. AVI isn't a format just a container, this means it could be divx or xvid or something else

    Download the divx codec, and that will probably let it play back the file in media player

    You can get codec packs like "klite" which would allow media player to play back even more formats

    k-lite codec pack will allow you to play alot of file types through media player

    VideoLAN will play absolutely everything* without any codecs needed.

    *well, pretty much everything
