vista and software Raid

Hi I just got a new Vista Ulitmate Acer Laptop with 2 x 250GB drives. It has no hardwarte Raid and I want to convert the two drives to software striped RAID. As the laptop didn't come with a Vista Install disk ( bizzare ), is it safe to convert the existing drive to dynamic and then convert bothe to striped partitions.…

Hi
