Another few sitting around with a while, really missed not having a tripod so thats something I need to sort out soon enough. This was my first time shooting fireworks and I could have done with being better positioned. As always, happy to hear anything anyone has to add...

Those are really great. I think the last one is my fave because of the reflections.

For some reason I really like #2.

But they are all great captures!

Number 1 looks nice but I'd crop the sea/water abit as I personally think there's too much of it,

Love the first one - maybe a bit more of the water and less of the sky? The horizon looks just a tad too centred to me.

Lovely stuff, I presume these are from Australia day (Skyfest, if I heard the ad for it once I must have heard it a million times, and was on the plane, on the way home when it happened).

Its Perth, taken from across the Swan River.

Makes me want to go back even more.

Thanks all for the comments, it is indeed Perth and Australia Day/Skyfest. They put on a good show for it, all the drunken fighting made it feel like home too :) Looking at the first one, I do think the balance is a bit off, a bettercrop should sort it...
