    Hey all,

Heading down that general direction for a couple of days and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for great places to shoot?
Gonna be around the city for a while and then head out towards the coast.

Not too fussy about subject as the weather looks pretty overcast for next few days might be limited by that.

    Thanks

Too many places to list really, do you have access to a car?

There's a jazz festival in Dungarvan this weekend. Dungarvan is about an hours drive from Waterford city.

Drive south of the city to the Passage East car ferry. Cross the river to Wexford and drive to Hook Head. A great place for photography.

IMHO, the N25 (main Waterford-Cork) road is well-policed so one has to be careful not to exceed the speed limit. Locals probably know the speedgun hotspots but visitors won't.

Anyway, I've gone off topic. If the OP wants some photos, I'd suggest taking 'the coast road' from Waterford/Tramore to Dungarvan and avoiding the main road (N25).

P.S. I went to your new blog to say 'hi' but only googlers can comment. I feel so left out :p

Shame I'm not down this weekend. I'd have head out with you if you wanted.

Btw, Downes pub, plenty of good refreshment. You might even see some of the lads from here! :p

I like Dungarvan (Fungarvan ;)). On the road out of Dungarvan towards Cork it goes fairly steeply uphill, and there's a nice layby/viewing area on the left where you can look down at the whole town, visibility permitting.

You might shoot any serial objectors you see too.

    Cheers.
