Im pretty new to the whole photography game. ive been pointing and shooting for years, but lately ive tried to look at a scene and find creative angles for shots and well, im getting nowhere. nothing i see seems good enough to shoot. Do you guys get together often to go out shooting around dublin? If so Id love to tag…

Im pretty new to the whole photography game. ive been pointing and shooting for years, but lately ive tried to look at a scene and find creative angles for shots and well, im getting nowhere. nothing i see seems good enough to shoot.

Do you guys get together often to go out shooting around dublin? If so Id love to tag along, just to get some ideas about how you guys decide on what to shoot and from what angle.

I need help developing my creative eye.

There are usually the odd gettogether from boards people. Mostly when the weather is good, for some strange reason.

But, as the film says - if you build it, they will come. So, in the same way, if you organise, people will attend.

Pick a date, time, and a topic, and you'll usually get a few people.

DigitalBeginners also organise the odd event for people to gather and photograph something.

There is also a group on Flickr called meetDublin that meets once a month, sometimes more frequently. Last week they went to Kilmainham Gaol and IMMA.
