Blackberry and Email

    Hey All,

    Just got a Blackberry 8700G and I'm a complete noob with the whole thing.

    I'm trying to figure out how to get my email going on it, but nothing doing.

    It says "data connection refused" on the home screen all the time, after a bit of messing I think it has something to do with Service Books but I don't even know what they are! I'm on O2 speakeasy

    Any ideas?

    Do a search for blackberry as this has been addressed a few times.

    Firstly you cannot use the blackberry service on speakeasy, you need to go bill pay

    Secondly you need to get the blackberry tariff attached to your bill (€20 per month)

    Then that data refused signal will be removed.

    You can use the phone and text without the blackberry service but you wont get email
