Setanta Sports Multi Room Query

    I know this is probably a stupid question that might have been answered before but I got Setanta in back in August and I have always been watching it in on the main tv in the livingroom.

    Last night I was fixing some stuff in the bedroom and I went to put it on to have it on in the background and the message came up that I wasnt subscribed to it and I double checked downstairs and it was still on.

    Does Setanta not work like Sky that once you pay for a package and have the multiroom the packages can be seen on all the tvs. If its going to cost more I wont bother getting it for another tv but if Im entitled to it Im going to look for it to be fixed.

    No - its a few quid extra per month to get it on both boxes. At least it was when I ordered it.

    Setanta is not part of any Sky package so they don't come under the Sky Multiroom thing.

    Thanks lads. I think I'll give it a miss, Sky/Setanta & HD package is costing me €118 a month so if it aint free Im not getting it.

    You could temporary swap the cards in your sky boxes as the card from downstairs will give you setanta upstairs if you switch the cards, however you will loose any premium channels such as sky movies and sky sports until you re-switch the cards...
