    Hi all

Im new here and have been dreading making a post about this but sadly last night the worst thing happened! This part has been playing up for a while but last night it gave up
Where the power cable plugs into the laptop has been damaged..What has actually happened is the male part of the motherboard laptop power plug has snapped off and fell into the laptop i had the laptop in pieces today and managed to soilder it back together and then glue it
Sadly this didnt work so now im stuck with a laptop that will work on its battery which i think only has maybe 60 mins left. Now i would'nt be to bothered about this laptop as this is fairly basic. But iv upgraded it to a gig or ram which is great for photo editing and it runs xp and the other two modern machines here are vista.Anyone know of somewhere cheap that can repair it?Or where i could get a part?

    Many Thanks

    Richard :D
