I am going to convert upstairs and need a bit of help. I want to put underfloor heating. but it wil be on plywood. the question are can i fix it straight to the floor of do i need a board/insulation to fix onto. i have the joists already insulated with 225mm warmcell and the other question does anyone know about the speical concrete mixes for this typpe of work and will i need a plastic underlay for the floor on the plywood??.

I alos want to use the expanding foam insualtion between the studs. has anyone used this ? what cost and is it better than say warmcell. last but no means lease i will be insualting the downstairs walls with kingspan insualtion. what is the price of say a meter square

thanks for any help in advance
