Each college will have up to 15 places. Extra places may be available if
some colleges don’t use their full quota. Guests are welcome and there
is even be room for some people to shoot 120 arrows.

Email me at james.ryan.1$ucdconnect.ie asap with your numbers and your team list before Wednesday.
The earlier I know how many each college is sending the earlier I can

I've booked sandwiches, rolls, warps ect. tea and coffee for everyone for Sat. as none of the shops around the sports hall will be open. This pushes the entry fee up to €10 per person. It's a good deal concidering we might make a loss on the shoot!
Hope to see all of you there.

    Hi all.

Just a reminder, could the clubs who still owe for the IV badges (UCD, DkIT, NUIM and DCU) bring a cheque, cash, salt, marbles or blood to the value of 60 EUR to the IV?

    Obliged :D

If RCSI or DKIT intend to compete can they please tell me the number of places they require (and if anyone else has contact details of either can they tell me). At this point I have aprox 15 free spaces in the morning and 10 free spaces in the afternoon. So if any college wishes to send more archers their welcome. Places will be allocated to the outstanding colleges first and after that on a first come first served basis. I will reply to all emails asap and unless I put it up on boards that the shoot is full, people may also turn up on the day.
The schedualed start is 10am but unless we can get the opening hours of the hall changed this may have to be pushed back to 10:30. I will put up the definite start time tomorrow.
    Till then

Don't think RCSI are going, was chatting to the Reinold in Carlow and he mentioned they wouldn't be at UCD. Things may have changed though!

I need one clarification for the status of Stephen Owen-Jones from GMIT as beginner. He participated as advanced in Maynooth and scored 385, and then participated as beginner today at UCD.

But the rules at http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=52244513&postcount=3 state:
    (2) Beginner. Any archer who has not scored the following at an Intervarsity or Schools competition can shoot as a beginner, if they choose.
    ...
300+ points in the Advanced/Compound category.

I had a talk with him today, and he told me that GMIT captain told him to shoot beginner. So can Stephen or GMIT captain contact me with the clarification?

hey one of the gmit crowd lost/misplaced/forgot a green bowstand at ucd:rolleyes:....anyone able to shed any light as to its whereabouts?:)

Hi - we did find a small green bow stand while sweeping up - also a rather nice red scarf, about 15 cents and an unopned choclate bar. Sorry, thought that had been posted previously. The 15 cents and the chocolate bar have since gone missing but we can bring others to Galway.

    Hi,

Did THE chest guard have a bit of white tape stuck to the front? If so the THE chest guard will be travelling to UL to be reunited with its bosum pal

If it didnt, then an ordinary chest guard will be travelling to UL to see who wants it. The mysterious red scarf will also be in attendence should anyone remember they used to own one until about the time of the UCD shoot and want to claim it back
