    Having a problem getting a loan from a bank to amount that I would like ( I am 6 months in Ireland and even that I have credit card for 5 months, they do not want to offer me more then certain amount since it would be my first loan). I am considering Hire Purchase and I am OK with them owning a car till I pay it off. I would probably like to get it on 3 years term, but what I would like to know are they easier to get? What is interest usually? Any other suggestions...

    Banks still have lending criteria for HP. APR for HP is usually around 8% although it varies.
