Tiral versions of software

I bought a copy of SPSS and installed it on my laptop. I couldn't register at the time due to a problem with their website so I was using the trial version for a few weeks.I finally managed to register it yesterday.

However, whenever I open the program on my computer I am warned that my trial period will end in x number of days. Is it necessary to uninstall the software and then reinstall it to get the full version? Have been afraid to do this in case I have to re-register which I assume I won't be able to do if I have to use the same license number again?

Probably isn't relevant but my laptop is a PC using Windows XP Pro.

To get the full version you will need to pay for a serial key. Uninstalling and reinstalling to use the trial software again usually does not work anymore

From my reading of the OP they've bought a key but the software is still in trial mode. Is that correct TheNibbler?

Enter the product key. If you have and it still doesn't work, contact their support.

Yeah,I've paid for the full version and registered it with key I had. Just whenever I open it, it says that I'm running the trial version and that its unregistered.

Ah my bad...usually in the "help" menu there is an option to enter a serial key

check under the help or tools menu for an activate or register option and try to activate again.

if it activates successfully and still displays the error contact the seller
