fabulous, but no camera on hand for 3 days :( and the sun coming though in South Wicklow, it was only magical

    No :(

I promised myself a trip to phoenix park at lunchtime with the camera but by 12.30 it was all clear, grrr.

The first shot does it for me. I love how the fog steals all the colour out of everything, and makes it look romantic and paris-like...

The sky where I live in South Wicklow was like something from Patagonia, with the silhouttes, and the red sun in the morning. Nearly turned around and called in sick and headed off with camera in bag.

Quick snap on my way out to work was best I managed. Thought the fog was pretty cool though.

Sasar, that's a beauty. Colour rendition on the trees is fantastic. What did you shoot it on out of interest?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 617 ✭✭✭sasar

    Thanks TJJP!
    I used canon 400d, sigma 10-20mm
    F/10, iso 100, exposure 1.6 seconds.

Baz - Very nice, I'm a big fan of high-contrast shots like that.

Managed to grab these before going to work that morning [sorry, no time to do croppy stuff]:
