Louis Fitzgerald or Days Hotel Park West

Right, I'm about to book a hotel for Saturday night and wondering if, considering I'm driving up from Limerick, 'tis best to book the Louis Fitzgerald on my side of the Red Cow Roundabout or Days Hotel on the other side considering the state of that place at the moment.

I'd prefer to book Days if it won't incur a nervous breakdown on the way. I presume I can still drive straight through the roundabout? And that's the best way to get to Days (turning left soon after)?

I've stayed in Days in Park West and it was cheap and cheerful, nothing special by any accounts. If I was coming in the N7, I would take the exit just before Newlands cross(Boot Road), then left at the traffic lights, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit, at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit and now you are on the Nangor Road. However if traffic isn't too bad, yeh you can continue straight through the M50 junction and turn left on to Killeen Road and then on to Nangor Road.

Woah, route map and all... now that's above and beyond the call of duty! Thank fletch, very much appreciated. BTW, cheap and cheerful is just fine for this trip. I stayed in the one in Galway recently and was very happy with it.

days is in the middle of an industrial estate with very little around the fitz is much easier to find another hotel around there is the ibis or if you want at much the same price i think ?theres the comfort inn at city west an easier way to the days is to take the ramp after browns barn and go left till you reach the grange castle junction turn right onto new nangor rd and keep going till the turn off for park west this way avoids the red cow roundabout the road gets less congested than the n7
    the fitz
after newlands cross take the exit onto slip road the hotel is behind joels resturant
    the comfort inn
take ramp after browns barn turn right over bridge take second exit on roundabout and its just on the right
    the ibis
carry on down the n7 at the start of the red cow works just at footbridge take slip road turn left and at the junction turn right its behind lillis o donnell ford
    hope this helps

Doesn't it depend on where you are going? If you are talking Saturday night, it would make no real difference, except Days would be closer to town.

For Days Park West, the easiest way to get there from the N7 is to
go through the red cow (an adventure, but straight) ,
turn left at the next junction (after Woodies - there is a turn before Woodies but is hard to see),
then follow the Nangor Road until you pass Baileys (Diageo) on the RHS and
then take the next right into Park West - you will have passed two other signal controlled junctions before this one.
At the first roundabout in Park West go straight through, and then shortly after you will turn left into the hotel.
