AFAIK No.

You can create a private party, which can be open to your friends list, and your friends friends list.

Ok if you can't then, how come when you play online and during the game it ends saying Host ended game.

I think it's because someone is picked involuntarily to host the game and if their connection gets real slow or if they want to leave the game, it'll say the host ended the game. I'm not really sure though.
