New Years Eve 2008

    Looking at heading away for a few days between Dec 26th and New Years Day.

    Can anyone reccomend some place good in Europe (that's not in the UK) for that period and also to take in New Years Eve.

    Looking for some place that is good for a few drinks out, with sights to see during the day.

    Weather won't bother me - be it hot or cold.

    barcelona, berlin and prague all have huge new years eve celebrations and a few sights to see during the day

    Berlin seems to be the place to head to judging by all the research i've done on the net.

    Anyone on here been there for NYE before?
