Ive been trying to get a good recipe for a nice curry for quite a while but anything I have made so far hasn't turned out too nice.

    Last one was-

    quorn
    tin chopped tomatoes
    cauliflower
    root ginger
    onions
    garlic
    chili pepper
    potatoes
    carrots
    okra
    ground coriander & cumin
    water

I'm probably forgetting a few things but basically it didnt turn out too good. Can any of yea reccomend me a recipe ?

Your ingredients are OK, if limited (except the okra which is just slimy and foul) - it's probably more a question of how you combined them.

The trick to good Indian cookery is learning the techniques for extracting the flavour from of your spices. This involves lots of dry-roasting, grinding and frying before you even get to work with the vegetables

Try looking on good Indian cookery web sites for ideas e.g.

    +1!

I always make curry with cocnout milk and curry paste.
I'll make that up then add it to whatever veg I have to hand.
I also use it to make curry potatoes, I add it to sliced potatoes and oven cook it for about 25 minutes.

Where did you get the okra?
