Looking for hints and tips re parking for the game on Saturday at Croke Park. My father is going with me, neither of us have been to Croker before. Walking any distance is a problem for him.

Can anyone give me advice on parking, we are travelling down from the North, and can get into the city good and early etc.

    TIA.

Anyway - you can get on street parking within a 5 min walk of the ground - pay and display (most places)

The main problem is getting home - 80K people go to the stadium, but they go in drips and drabs. 80K people leave the staduim but all at the same time!!!

Your best bet is to stick around the staduim for a while, spend some extra time in your seats!

The NCR is probably your best bet depending on what stand you are in...

Sorry yeah Saturday week. Thanks for the advice. No hurry home etc, more concerned about not having my father have to walk too far. Intend leaving here nice and early in the morning to get decent parking. Thanks again.

FYI; i dont know if you've been in croker before, but; I just hope you are not in the upper stand... it's a long trek unless you can ask an attenant to use the lift...
