Hi would anyone know of any good websites to help me learn the guitar. i searched on the web but didnt come across anything yet if anyone can point me in the right direction thanks

they will teach you the techniques so all there is left to do is learn how to read tab > http://guitar.about.com/library/blhowtoreadtab.htm

then search for the tab of song you want to learn how to play> http://www.911tabs.com/ and then practice practice practice,

youll get pissed off after a week or two but keep at it because it pays off in the end!! everyone gets frustrated at some point and puts the guitar down but just make sure you pick it back up again! good luck!

www.ultimate-guitar.com is good, lots of lessons (although of varying quality, butr just route through them to find the good ones), the forums give pretty helpful responces to any questions aswell and thousands of tabs aswell including powertab and guitar pro ones.
