    Lunar Disko presents...

Saturday March 1st @ The Underground, Kennedys.

DJ TLR (Creme Organization / Creme JAK - NL)
    Lonely Lion [LIVE] (Letterkenny)
    Lil Dave (HangTough)

    Adm: e10 // Doors:11pm

This coming March 1st sees a return for the fourth time to Lunar Disko for Creme Organization head honcho DJ TLR. This Lunar Disko favourite has always rocked the floor with his bag of italo, electro and chicago acid-trax so expect another killer night of electro(nix) down in the Kennedys basement!

Crème Organization was founded in 2000 by TLR as the mutant disco offspring of Bunker Records, but has since then been 100% independent and self- indulgent. What started out as a playground for TLR aka Mr Clavio, soon grew to more serious proportions with the debut release of Bangkok Impact and consecutive releases by Legowelt, Orgue Electronique and a slew of other - now classic - disco and electro producers centered around the Dutch West-Coast.

When Crème hooked up with local artist Godspill, that special euphoric-nihilistic Crème look was born – an unintentional act of branding that proved to become a very important part of the label and is now often imitated by weaker species.

Fast forward 8 years and Crème Organization has become a household name in the Electro/Disco/Chicago underground with a strong catalogue that includes artists of such diversity as Alexander Robotnick, Aux 88, Nami Shimada, James T Cotton, Traxx, Rude 66, Legowelt, Bangkok Impact, Marcus Mixx and Luke Eargoggle... the list goes on: over 60 releases strong, over 50 artists deep!

This Saturday DJ TLR makes his return to Lunar Disko @ The Underground, Kennedys. Since playing at our first ever party back in September 2005, TLR has become one of our favourite DJ's due to his blistering sets on each of his visits.

In the late 90´s the first wave of The Hague electronics hit TLR like a brick when Guy Tavares of Unit Moebius gave him some records of I-F, Pametex and Electronome after a gig. Their tense and dangerous style was far removed from the mind numbing lifestyle crap that dominates the airwaves and refueled a love for electro in him that had been dormant since the mid 80's. When introduced to the hidden treasures in the Clone recordshop (then housed in a small and dark backroom of Rotterdam´s Urban Unit) matters really got out of hand.

In 1998 the Bunker label rose from its own ashes. Soon after the original Global Darkness crew went separate ways. He designed the skeleton for www.bunker-records.com and started www.globaldarkness.com, which silently grew into one of the most consistent electro/disco communities on the Internet. In 2000 TLR and fellow dirty brown loser DJ Schmerzlabor pulled the Bunker Records Dirty Brown World Tour out of their hats and invited Legowelt & Orgue Electronique (at that time one of the few Bunker live acts) along to spread the dirty brown gospel of Bunker Records. The Bunker Team was a fact and he slowly rediscovered the Freewave pirate radio Italo/disco sounds of his childhood through the mixes of I-F and Sunday afternoon tea sessions in the shady apartments of Legowelt and Orgue Electronique. It didn't take long before the Bunker Team's myth of grandeur became a reality, and they've been touring ever since.

The end of 2001 saw the birth of his Crème Organization. With over 50 artists on the label to date, it has become one of the leading electronic music labels supporting killer artists such as Legowelt, Orgue Electronique, Bangkok Impact, and Aux 88 to name a few...

In 2006 Crème Organization further strengtened its ties wih the American Nation of Jak, by hooking up with artists like Traxx, JTC (James Cotton) and Hieroglyphic Being. 2006 also saw the release of the Robert Moog Tribute CD, a benefit release for the Dystopia project (an independent cultural centre in The Hague) with contributions from a selection of the worlds leading electronic musicians.

Some highlights for TLR include multiple tours of the USA, Japan and Australia and a spot for the label on the Musiclogical stage at FUSE-IN Detroit 2005. So... fresh from sharing the bill with electro legends Dopplereffekt last Saturday in Amsterdam, TLR is ready to rock down the Lunar Disko walls once again with his bag of cutting edge tracks from the Dutch West Coast, Chicago and beyond....

First up on support this month we welcome down another Lunar Disko debutant, Lil Dave. This lad is no stranger to Dublin clubs and has played at most nights across town with his collection of disco, funk, and minimal grooves so make sure you get down early to check out the lil' man in action.

Next up we welcome back Lonely Lion (Paraic Corry & Cian McDevitt), this will be the lads third jam @ Lunar Disko and they have always put on a superb show bringing together a diverse range of influences from the Electro/Experimental/Electronica genre in their live performance, so expect their show to keep the floor moving before TLR takes over the Lunar Disko controls!

As always we have a few guestlist passes up for grabs, so to be in with a chance simply be one of the first 5 people to email back to lunardisko@yahoo.ie before Friday afternoon.
