Cheers for the FYI Snake ... Blade runner 5 Disk set for 19Euro, not even counting the further discount if you buy another 2 HD-Dvds is great ... the 2 disk set us Europeans get lumbered with is 30Euro in virgin for cryin out loud.

How many HD-DVD's have you? I've just over 50 HD-DVD's and 50 Blu-Rays

How does the 3 for 2 work? I put 3 into the basket and went as far as ordering, and it was still charging me for 3...

Well I assume you have heard the news that Dixons/Currys/Pixmania have dropped HD-DVD and that in the US Netflix is dropping HD-DVD and that Best Buy is recommending Blu-Ray over HD-DVD?

So he isn't far wrong. Of course there is absolutely nothing wrong with you picking up a couple of cheap discs from the clearance sales, just as long as you know what is happening.

BTW Blu-Ray discs have been added to this sale also now.

as BK said more and more people are dropping HD for Blu Ray - I personally think NetFlix is a bix loss for the HD camp, and the fact that the Porn industry appears to have gone with BluRay will pretty much seal the deal, can't see HD recovering............but you never know.....

Yeah thats fine and you give a balanced response, my problem with his post is he's taking the p.i.s.s. and gloating, I will continue to buy both formats as I've no issue with my Toshiba player, as would others who have taken advantage of the recent price cuts.

Also I had the Blu-Ray linked in first post also

Yeah you should just be able to pick 3 from the list and before your final confirmation screen to place the order it should show a discount applied for the cheapest title.

On the customs question you might be lucky, problem with Amazon they put the value of the 3 on the front, which might alert the customs folks, especially say if you went for The Matrix, Blade Runner and say The Sorpranos, I have to say I placed about 7-8 orders over xmas on some of their other deals and didn't get hit once, I picked the cheapest shipping rate and they all came via Auckland and didn't get hit with a customs charge. I saw someone suggest that if you get them gift wrapped then Amazon don't put the price on the box and you might get through, but I cannot confirm that.
