Free repair on windscreen chips

    In terryland tescos Galway. Dont know much about it, I just seen the stand they had that says free windscreen chips repair. Autoglass are doing it.
    Only got online now to report it but id say they'll be there for another while. Last seem em there at 2pm.

    I heard an ad on the radio relating to this, and it mentioned something about comprehensive insurance? I assume they make the claim on your insurance so it is free for the end user?

    Yeah, I've seen them setup outside Dunnes in Briarhill. Saw the big free screen repair initially. But looked a bit closer the next day and as randomer mentioned, its going through insurance.

    You get something like 4 free glass changes# a year with windscreen cover on insurance, and seeing as windscreen cover cost me €5 for the year you would be mad not to get it. Claims for glass don't affect no claims bonus either.

    #this is with quinn direct anyways, they don't cover sun roofs though(i think)

    I think generally all glass claims dont affect you NCB. Thats what ive heard anyways.
