Does anyone know when (or if!) the Croation fighter, Mirko Cro Cop, is fighting in the UFC again?

Posted already in the MMA thread on the board so loads of info in there for you. He's gone to the DREAM organisation in Japan. So he wont be in UFC again.

I'm very sorry to see him go, I don't follow the other fight orgs and I only heard about him when he came to UFC. It's a shame things went so badly for him.

Im happy i got to see him fight live (even though he lost). He was more suited to a ring anyway. Hope he goes back to his old sefl at DREAM>

just read that his ultimate goal is to return to the ufc but he feels he needs a few fights to find his feet again. dana white has been interviewed about it and he seemes really supportive of the move

i hope mirko sorts himself out, i think he could have beaten kongo if he wasn't so tenative

I'm not surprised, they were spending a fortune on him and he's not going to be getting many people to buy a UFC PPV

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make any attempt to come back to the UFC. He's the most popular foreign fighter in Japan and I'm sure he'll be getting paid enough to make it worth his while

Well that answers my question. It only popped into my head the other night watching Bob Sapp beat Kimo years ago and then remembering how Cro Cop put the big galoot down and made him cry in their fight earlier that year.

Anyway, thanks everyone for the info.

he broke bob's eye socket with that punch, i think he detatched his retina aswell, if you look at sapp now he's a little gunner eyed still, the right eye drifts a little now and then when your talking to him.
