Case for my Warbeast

So after posting a couple of threads here over the last few years I finally bought the BC Rich Warbeast last summer, after not being able to decide between a Warlock and a Beast.

I bought it from thomann and got a casket case with it. The only problem with that is that it was too small. (I had emailed them before ordered and was told it would fit.)

So I returned the case and ordered one they recommended, which is ****ing huge! But I still want to get a casket case.

The original one I got was the 10806 and I just recently saw that they have a 10821. I'm trying to get some information about the 10821 case but it's very hard to find and Warwick's site is ****e.

So my question is, will a BC Rich Warbeast fit into the 10821 casket case?

why didn't u just remove the compartment at the base of the case (in the photograph), it would have fit then no? its a pretty easy thing to do.....

I tried that. It won't fit afterwards because it has to go diagonal a little bit and some of the edges of the guitar were coming over the edge of the case.

What about a bass version of the coffin case?

What about a case for an adult? And a guitar to match? only messing. Remove the compartment or get on to the BC rich site and see what they have.

That's the problem I'm getting, either no-one knows or they just don't like answering emails!

How much does it cost to return an item to Thomann during their 30 day money back guarantee? I know it's free if you're in Germany but I don't know how much from Ireland. If it's not too much I'd just order the 10821 case.

Did you have it in writing by them that it would fit? Send thomann the pics above and tell them to collect the one you have and send out a new one. You shouldn't have to pay for their mistake.

If it's a discretionary return under their 30 day returns policy, you have to pay return shipping.

They paid for the previous return because they had accidentally misrepresented it and the fault was theirs.

I already returned the one that's in the picture and there was no problem with that. They paid for it and I got my money back. And yes, I had an email from them saying that the original case I ordered would fit and I didn't have any trouble with them paying for the return.

I understand that, I'd just like to know how much it would cost me to return the slightly bigger case (the 10821) if I ordered it and it didn't fit.

I just got an email from them saying
    thomann wrote:
The Warlock will fit and the Warbeast seems to be very similar in size and shape,so I think it will fit" would that be enough for them to pay for a return if it was needed?

That's entirely up to them, unless you're planning to take legal action if they don't. Ask them for internal dimensions, and crack out the measuring tape. If they give you dimensions wrong, they're obliged to take it back. "I think it will fit" is not exactly a binding recommendation.

 How much it will cost to ship back is down to how much it weighs and what carrier and service you decide to use. Go to UPS / DHL / Fedex websites etc and figure it out. They all have online quote generators, once you can provide weight and/or dimensions. If you get Thomann to organise the courier for you they'll get DHL to do it, and they usually use the intermediate delivery time service (3-4 day, I think) unless you request something different.

Why wouldn't it fit at first?

The original case they sent me was too small, it was for a Les Paul size electric.
