Im hitting Mumbai in a few days, I was just wondering from other peoples experiences, wheres the best place to stay to meet other travellers (the koh san road if you will) ? Whats the best places to go to after Mumbai?? Thanks in advance.

I was only in Mumbai briefly, didn't like the place. Busy, loud, full of traffic and poverty. The bars are mainly in hotels and pretty expensive. Not wanting to be smart, but my advice would be to get to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly known as Victoria Terminus) - very nice building by the way - and take the train to Goa. Depends on how long you're staying in India for though, the train takes about 10 hours.
