    Hi,

I transferred money to my Wirecard account two weeks ago and have still not got my money!

I finnally received a reply yesterday telling me that I am not allowed to get payments from 'thrid party' bank accounts!?!?

I emailed them back telling them that my account is not a "third party" account and that I have transferred money from that account to my Wirecard account dozens of times in the last year only to receive the following semi-automated reply:

~Thank you for contacting the Wirecard Service Team.
    ~
~In the first instance, we would like to apologies for the delayed response to
~your enquiry. In regards to your most recent transaction, the funds can not be
    ~
~credited without the account being converted into a full account. The reason
~for this request is related to the changing policies of funding methods, we
    ~apologies for any inconvenience caused.
    ~
~Please print, fill out and sign it and include a certified* copy of your
~passport or, alternatively, a certified* copy of your driver’s license or ID
~card as well as two utility bills showing your name and current address in
    ~your letter.
    ~
~Then please send the full documentation via postal mail to:
    ~
    ~Wirecard Bank AG
    ~Wirecard
    ~Postfach 31 05 44
    ~04163 Leipzig
    ~Germany

I have emailed them back a furious response but I think this whole Wirecard thing is falling apart. Didn't they just pull out of the USA?

    I won't be using them again - I don't even have a Driver's Licence or a Passport.

Anyone else having issues with them?

    Nico

    Just received this email:

*Thank you for contacting the Wirecard Service Team.
    *
*In regards to your email concerning the conversion of your Wirecard account to
*accept third party funding, we must unfortunately inform you that if you have
*no form of photo I.D. that maybe certified, your account may not be upgraded.
    *
*This is due to our security procedures to which we thank you in advance for
    *your understanding.

This was a reply to my email asking where my 300 euro is and why are they saying in emails that it is a 'third party' payment when that is the BOI bank account that I have always used.

I really think these companies do not read emails and just send out the same old automated replies - it is the only thing that makes sense. I'm furious but no idea what to do. They never answer their phones so email is all I have.

    Feel like punching this monitor.

You mention trying to deposit €300. AFAIK, this is the limit, where when met or passed, you need to send in all that documentation.
Q: Is there a deposit limit for my Wirecard account?
A: As soon as a limit amount for deposits in your Wirecard account is exceeded there is a legal requirement to have full identification of the account holder. You will be informed about such a limit by Wirecard Bank when you open your account or pay money into it.
I had the same issues when setting up an account for my brother. He depositied around 500eur and they seized it, until all those documents and photoID copies were sent. Unfortunately he didn't have much in the line of photo ID which they'd accept, so after some emails, they agreed to forward back the money.

Indeed, he did get refunded a few days later (I can't recall now if they sent him a cheque or put the money back in his account).

It was just as I thought -- although they had me feeling paranoid for awhile for me thinking that they weren't reading my emails.

I mean I was stating over and over again that this deposit was made from my usual account and NOT a third party account but their resposes kept on being the same -

'we are sorry but in order to accept third party payments' .. yada yada.

This is so obviousily cut and paste automated crap that these response centers pump out day after day.

It's the same on the phone when you ring NTL, O2 or Eircom you have to keep on repeating yourself. 'Yes, my phone is switched on, no, the battery isn't dead' etc etc.

Anyway, here is the hair pulling, screen punching, pet choking reply that I just got:

    * Thank you for contacting the Wirecard Service Team.
    * In regards to your emails and the situation concerning your bank wire to
    * your Wirecard account, we can inform you that there has been a
    * mis-understanding which we now need to clear.

Mis-understanding?? After five emails and two weeks telling them I am NOT a third party they say there has been a Mis-understanding.

    * You currently have credit cards registered with your Wirecard account as
    * deposit methods. These are activated and can be used.

Do I now? That is very nice of you to point out. Well actually they are 3V vouchers and they are f**king empty but thanks for the heads up.

    * Your bank wire arrived as third party. We only asked for your verification
    * documents (passport etc) so that you may accept third party deposits to
    * your Wirecard account.

We ONLY asked? Ahhhh, poor Wirecard guy is cwwying. Only asked he did. It WASN'T a THIRD PARTY ya bleedin nut job!

    * We have understood that you state the bank account (sender) belongs to
    * yourself.

Yes, people's bank accounts do in fact tend to belong to themselves genius.

    * We did not know this until you stated your circumstances in your
    * previous emails ..

I KNOW!! Which is why I stated the bloody fact over and over again for two bloody weeks! And, NOW - finally the penny seems to have dropped despite the fact, even had I not of explained that this was indeed my account, this is the same account that I have been transfering money from for over a year now so a simply check would have made this obvious you would think.

    * and therefore we informed you of our third party wire policies in case
    * theywere of use to you.

    <Monitor Punched>

    * In order to receive any delayed deposits via bank wire, we would only
    * require a scanned copy of your bank wire receipt/deposit slip.

ahh, of course the depoist slip the is digitly printed and slides out of Nokia every time I transfer money on my phone using Banking 36 f**king 5. Why didn't you say.

    * Then the funds can be credited to your account without passport,
    * drivers licences and so on.

How very kind of you sir. My regards to all in Germany you sweet sweet people. DIE you mother f**k deaf phone answering, email ignoring, automated
    response sending, stroke inducing cretin.

If my money does hit my Wirecard account I'll post back.

Did you deposit the money into their "local account" in the Bank of Ireland in Dublin?

Yeah, the same as always. Just transfered money in my BOI account to their BOI account same as always.

There is even a reference number that goes along with all transfers that is the customers account number that is attached to your Wirecard account.

They know my account. If they checked their records they would see that I have transfered dozens of times from that account.

It was error their end and laziness to actually read emails they recieve. They just assumed their system couldn't possibly make a mistake.

I tried to add founds to my wirecard account on 31.12.2007 via local account in the Bank of Ireland in Dublin.

Up to the present day I don't have my 100 EURO neither on my wirecard
account nor back on my Irish account.

I send almost 20 emails to them, typical response is:
    Dear Mr XXXX,

Thank you for contacting the Wirecard Service Team.

As per your request we will return the funds as soon as possible.

Please do not hesitate to contact us again should you have any further
    questions.

Should you have further questions about the information given above, please
reply directly to this email, including our original text and ticket number.
This will help us to deal with your inquiry much faster.

    Kind regards
    XXXXX
    Wirecard Service Team

It is really not serious that they don't put on their web page 2 most important informations:
1st you can deposit money on wirecard account only from your own account
2nd limit for 1 transaction is 300 EUR what is 50 EUR less then 3V

Same carp as I'm getting and I still haven't got my funds either. I just got another email that ignored ever thing I said in my email and is now asking for my passport again to take third party payments!

    Back to square one.

I'm sticking with 3V allthough I wanting to buy a Laptop for around 800 euros on Ebay and I have no way of paying this.

Last week I bought four 3V vouchers for 250 each and transfered the money to another PayPal account and bought a Digital SLR for 927 euros. It was the only the only way that I could make the payment.

Ebay the contacted me three days later telling me that if I did this again they would close my accounts. Crazy because I lost money to PayPal by doing this on the transaction fees between the two PayPal accounts not to mention the four fivers the vouchers cost me.

Has anyone got a system up and running yet to better Wirecard or 3V?

Sorry, meant to say PayPal contacted me as a person is not allowed to have two PayPal accounts. Accused me of laundering money they did :)

Okay, so now that the 'local' bank transfers are gone and an IBAN international transfer is the only option can someone explain this.

I'm with BOI and when I try to add my Wirecard accont as a 'benificiery' they won't allow the BIC code of 'WIREDEM1XXX' to go through for me.

It just says that I have entered an 'invalid field' the box?

    Any clues?

These guys are a pure Mickey Mouse operation...

I don't know how many times they've managed to 'lose' my deposit. It seems one out of every three payments never arrive.

Of course I use the same procedure each time - transfer from my bank account to the BOI account, but either the money takes about a month to show up, or it never does.

    I'm done with this crowd.

I only wish 3v were more on the ball - i.e. you could keep the same credit card number, and more stores could top it up (or via the bank).

Trying to set up registereing my bank to my wirecard account anyway. Where do i find all thse codes?

    Your Bank Account

Account Holder - obviously my name goes here

Account Number - my bank account number or my wirecard acc. number?

Routing Number - absolutely no clue.

IBAN - again, confused, i have an IBAN no. on my wirecard, is that the number i need to put in here?

    Your Bank

Name of the Bank - Straight forward

SWIFT / BIC Code - Reading the description this sounds like my bank sort code, so i enter my bank sort code, but when i do that i get an error message saying its not the right format or some crap.
Anyone sheld some light on this for me?

Hmmmmm, i'm well and truly put off now after reading through the thread. I'm sure plenty have found the service to be great, but i could rewally do without the hassle tbh.

I'll stick to my 3v cards for the time being i think.

Has anyone come across any other alternative?

I sent them loads of crap in the post ... anything I could get my hands on so they'd not ask for more. I've asked in an email too if I can use other certain things since the bills are not in my name.

    I got this today:

3V are trying to get something set up like Wirecard. It's just a long process because it goes through the financial regulator.

Can I just point out that when you confirm who you are with the German Bank, it takes a few seconds (EDIT: From 3v to it anyways) to transfer money to your Wirecard account, and not days or weeks.

I guess the reason is that it does not have to be manually checked or something.

I like wirecard now that I've it all confirmed etc.
