Just found this on youtube. Some great tries on display here from the French league this season. Some of you might have seen some of these on Setanta, I'm not sure.
    Anyway enjoy!

Great vid! The number 1 try by Cedric Heymans against Clermont-Auvergne is an absolute beauty! The pace of this guy is unbelievable! And when you think that Vincent Clerc is actually faster...

But nobody would have seen these tries on Setanta! Eurosport got the rights this year IIRC

That match was amazing overall Stefano. CA scored a beauty of a try. Incidently Poitrenaud is never pulling on a French jersey again.

ah dont agree there! he's only about 25/26!

toulouse are starting to play him at 12 and so far so good. he's class though heymans at 15 definitely seems to be working

Oh right. I didn't know Eurosport had the rights. That could be good as it might mean some Top 14 rugby might be shown on the BBC as I think those two have a kind of connection going (Tennis, snooker etc.) It's scary to think of the back three talent at the disposal of Clermont and Toulouse. Clerc, Poitrenaud, Heymans, Rougerie, Malzieu.

Unfortunately I missed this game... :( But my mates told me about the scintillating try Heymans scored and I have to say I was impressed! :)

As for Poitrenaud, I'm sure he'll be back sooner than we think...

BBC won't be showing any of the Top14 games I'm afraid. Eurosport have exclusivity I think (the fact that Eurosport is French probably helped a lot there!).

Bleh. Stupid Lievremont picking flaky Poitrenaud just to spite me.
Although if he is playing centre he won't be as exposed as he was at full back.
    Anyone for an English upset?

England by 3. France dont have the pack for the job at hand and England will have a point to prove no doubt

I'm seeing something similar happening myself. Our pack is poor (we couldn't even handle Ireland! :p). I don't think we can beat them, yet.

    LOL :D

Lievremont actually browses boards.ie and he thought to himself "Fook that Jabba fellow! I'm selecting Poitrenaud!"

I think France will win it provided they have a good first half and if Lievremont stays calm and leaves a decent pack on in the 2nd.
