Whats the easiest way of getting into Monkstown Farm from Dublin City Centre.

By bus or by train and what bus or train would take me there?

Bus. 46A, 746 goes along Monkstown Farm. 4A would drop you close by also.

Would be a good 15min walk from Salthill train station.

If near the DART or using the DART anyway, you could get the DART to Dun Laoghaire and the 46A to Monkstown Farm.

Ok will likely get a bus so.

How long approximately would it take the 46a to get from dublin city to Monkstown?

46A can take between 40 minutes and well over an hour, depending on the amount of stops made (It serves a lot of schools) and time of day. The 4A would be somewhat quicker due to a dedicated bus lane and a far shorter route.

DART to Salthill & Monkstown or to Seapoint depending on exactly where you are going. Either are quite a walk from Monkstown Farm.

It takes approximately 20 minutes from the city.

The DART station (Salthill/Monkstown) is approximately 3 minutes walk from Monkstown village. The DART journey from Connolly takes between 20 and 22 minutes.
When you walk up out of the car park in the station, take any of the roads that head away from the coast and you’ll be in the village in no time.

It's no more than 5 minutes walk away (Salthill and Monkstown Station).

Alternatively buses 7, 7A, and 8 will take you directly to Monkstown Village.

hi its me back again the holy family national school in monkstown how far from the dart station please

That school is in Dunedin Park so is a bit of a distance (approx 15mins) from the station. The 46A however has several stops really near there so you might be as well off to catch a bus!

Get off the 46a after the credit union, turn left at Dun Laoghaire tyres, second left will leave you facing a field - turn left again.
