Now it may be a leap, but given current opinion being towards a rift in time or something, I think that this could be a hint in that direction. Losties are trapped in the past, Charlotte went back in time, didn't believe she did, but now is back in the real world, aware of the discoveries about to be made...

Also Jack's "We have to go back!" bit could be of relevance totime and not just place.

Anyway, I'll read the articles, and if there's anything of note in them, I'll throw it up here.
