A friend of mine was talking about this yesterday, personally given the recent political situation id be hesitant still about going to Serbia, I dont want that to seem ignorant but I wouldnt believe its the safest country to travel through.

I was going to go to this last year...its supposed to be a really good atmosphere,
From what I can remember, they provide you with a tent and all, cant go wrong with that!

I had friends go to this, mixed reports came back!

its piss cheap, no dout about it, but they said they where hassled quite a lot by the locals, and didnt feel "safe" a lot of the time, and when taking taxis etc they where ripped off.

but then some people said it was brilliant and totally safe!

Your friends are talkin shyte, Ive been to Novi Sad 3 times. Novi Sad is safer that ANY place in in Ireland. There are literaly no 'bad' areas of the city. You can go anywhere at anytime of the day and not feel threatend. Sounds crazy put they simply don't have the scumbag culture that we have here. Taxi's will try rip you off in july at the time of exit. But Tell them you know how much it should cost, they will normally drop down to regular price. Well Serbian_Wookie! how did you find boards.ie?

This sounds like a good festival. Hopefully we'll have a more clear picture of the lineup soon, as I would need to see that before I make a commitment on my attendance.

A group of my friends went to this last year and had nothing but good things to say about it. Dirt cheap apperantly.

Whats the cheapest way to get to this? The flights look to be in the 450 to 500 euro mark from Dublin to Belgrade? Theres talk about going via Budapest and train but dont know if that will work out cheaper.

Fly to budapest with ryanair, Flights are about €150. Don't get he rain. I takes 8 hours. There is bus service running from Budapest airport to Novi Sad especially for exit. Costs about €50 return. Check out the Orthodox Celt. Like the SerbianWookie said. There unreal. Serbian Irish music band. There massive over there, Crazy stuff. www.orthodoxcelts.co.yu there are a few videos on the site.
