    Hello
    i am currently with meteor pay as u go and have had no probs yet, however i am considering changing my phone (at present i have se k750i). i would like a phone that can access the internet pref useing broadband (i wouldlike to be able to log onto my betfair account) but i dont know how this works,doest it tap into wireless networks around u, do u have 2 b registered on networs b4 it will work, how you are charged,networks that support it, can pay as u go customers use services like this etc
    I would also like any suggestions on phones that would b compatible but yet not 2 expensive (max 300)

    The SE K850i is HSDPA enabled - O2 selling at the moment under 300 on postpay. You can buy a data bundle from O2 and then use your phone as a broadband modem (via cable or bluetooth) with your laptop.

    Yeah I agree, I use the Sony Ericsson K850i for surfing the web and taking photos and its the way to go.
    30e for 10GB a month on O2 billpay, is the extra cost for using your phone as a broadband mobile and if your just using your phone to read email or surf the web it all comes out of your 10GB allowance.

    so 2 use broadband on ur phone u need to have ur laptop with u, do meteor offer any broadband offers, if u do not use broadband can u visit sites on ur fon and if so is it really slow and does it cost much

    Its a lot easier to surf a webpage on your laptop/Pc than on the phone, but I do both.
    So to answer your question, no you dont need to have your phone with you when your accessing the O2 broadband.
