As the site we are building on is below the level of the road our engineer has suggested to look at using a sump pump to pump the sewerage up to the sewer. Anyone know where these can be sourced??

Any of the pump or sewage pump treatment suppliers . I don't know where you are based , I know EPS ( Electrical & pump Service) in Mallow would be one crowd.
