Considering purchasing this plus the G25. What sort of components would I need to run it?

I don't have a clue about setting up cars which is my downfall but I sure can race.....is there setups out there for DL or to copy?

The main thing about LFS is that its highly dependant on CPU, its not multithreaded so multi core wont help.

You can run it well with a pretty mundane graphics card, you just need to make sure your CPU is around the 2.8Ghz mark (make that 1.8Ghz core2) to have a full field without major framedrops. My current computer has an old P4 3.0 @ 3.6

Setups you can ask via chat at a given track, or google "hungarian setupsfield". Press "n" to view connections and click on the highighted "S" to save a setup that someone has sent to you.

LFS is well worth the money, as is the G25. Great combo.

Unless you are 3secs/lap or less off the WR times, the setups may not help, in fact they may make things worse bear this in mind as a lot of WR setups are pretty nervous and not ideal for racing. To find the WR's go to www.lfsworld.net

also google for LFS manual or setup guide, theres a pretty phat PDF out there that covers a lot of the basic principles.
