Croatia Accomodation & Car Hire?

    I will be going to Croatia In July for 10 days and fly into Dubrovnik with Aerlingus staying there for 5 days and make my way to Zadar flying back to Dublin with Ryanair.I have accomodation in Dubrovnik but am looking for advice as to where I should stay on the way from Dubrovnik to Zadar.Has anybody any recommendations? There are 3 of us (My wife ,my 2 year old son & I).I also need to book a car for 5 days to take me from Dubrovnik to Zadar and agin I am looking for advise on this please?

    hey, that's a pretty specific question & hard to answer! im not sure what kind of accomodation you would be looking for, in terms of price but often in croatia it's just random guesthouses and people picking you up at train stations. obviously not as suitable for family though, sorry can't be of more help - why don't you chekc out lonely planet forum??

    Hello ,I'm from Croatia, don't know about car hire but my Irish friends (a family) booked a car on Cilipi airport (Dubrovnik) for 5 or 6 days last year and drove to island Brac near Split, so I'll ask them for details . . as of where to stay on your way to Zadar, there are 2 places you shouldn't pass by: Split and Sibenik . Or spend a day or two in Split only as it's croatian second largest city to capital
