Well, last week Fajitas somehow had the patience to take me on for work experience.. We ended up going to Howth, Dún Laoghaire, and Poolbeg for shots..

Here's a few from the week..

If the people I've had working on work experience done as well as you did I'd be very happy, they're great shots "all of them"

I really like the first and second-last shot.

I see vignetting has rubbed off on you :)

I'd think that was quite an experience for both of you.....

The shots are great, you are a quick learner it seems, I hope you are as diligent at the rest of your studies.:D
Two slight concerns would be that the vignetting effect is a shade overdone, and some of the verticals and horizons might be a touch off.

Aye, I'd have to say, (Shock - Horror) I'd pull back the vignetting a bit on them myself...

I'd say the real experience was walking from ringsend, to poolbeg lighthouse and back in to the powerstation.. :D

Well, didnt alter it too much in the presets.. no harm to, though..

indeed; i'd happily pay a developer (as in coder, not film) to write a 'vignetting filter' (as in to filter out, not photoshop filter) for firefox.

I like them a lot. love the vignetting - love the saturation too. Nice work.

Nice way to spend work experience too.

Almost enough to turn your hair grey! :p:D

Fair play to Fajitas and anyone else who is generous with their time like this ... unfortunately increasingly rare in a world where everything is valued in euros and cents.

And some nice photos, CM ... though as you know my technical judgement isn't up to much! :D

Cracking stuff. Lovely saturation, as mentioned.
    PP done in Lightroom? Photoshop?

Vignietting great but maybe a tad overpowering on one or two of 'em.

Nice shots Grasshopper, a tad over-processed for my taste but maybe that's the Canon look ...

I can see it now. Two gear-laden characters, silhoutted against the dawn sky, backs to the lofty Ringsend chimneys...
