Can anyone recommend a decent site for getting themes. Found this one http://www.ps3-themes.com/ seems decent enough. Haven't tried one yet tho!

how do i transfer the downloaded theme to the ps3?
i have a 1gb usb thing
can you transfer over wifi?

Create a PS3\THEMES folder on the key and put the files in it, go to themes click install and highlight the usb key.

Aha, that might explain why I couldn't get themes to load. I had just placed the theme files in the Root of my flash drive.

I will try putting them into the folders as you mentioned.
