Anyone know why theres so few games out for the ps3?starting to think i wasted my money?

It's still early days. Have faith. It's only been out a year. PS2 took a few years b4 it got decent games. GTA 4 is out in April along with MGS4.

Got motostorm and godfather which iv since parted with,also got fifa and raw versus smackdown and iv played ridge racer and pro ev,looking forward to gta ok,anyone reccomend kane and lynch??

fair enough there's only a few decent games out right now! But its better the seeing the shelves lined with rubbish titles! The producers need the games to succeed seeing as production costs are huge. This can only be a good thing! There's a needless amount of **** titles for the 360 as it is!

yeah kinda know what you mean,still though wouldnt mind a few deadly games so i could reall y get stuck in!anyone kno if theres any version of street fighter planned?

Uncharted Drakes fortune is a must, best game on it.
Rainbow 6 :Las vegas is a good game
Cod4 is great(i much prefer it on the PC though)
Pro isn't great by its high standards but its still decent enough, its the game that gets the most of my attention

Avoid Kane and Lynch.
Games to buy or rent:
Devil May Cry 4
Call of Duty 4
Resistance
Rainbow 6
Assassins Creed
Uncharted Drakes Fortune.

Grand Theft Auto is out soon, MGS4 is probably only a few months away, and don't forget Killzone 2 or Gran Turismo.
There's loads to look forward to on the PS3.

I would'nt get too excited about gran turismo 5 yet.The prologue of the game, however is out on the 28th of march

Ok I think I will be buying a PS 3 and grand theft auto in April - Anyone got an idea how much they are retailing at? Im sure they will be priced a little less come april also!

Do a search here on the pros and cons - its been done to death. Try around the usual suspects such as Smyths, XtraVision etc for the deals they are doing.

The game is pretty ****ing terrible actually. One of the worst that I played last year (and definitely one of the most disappointing given the potential it had)

Gonna have to agree 100%. Kane and Lynch is terrible compared to how well Hitman series were recieved.
Uncharted is unmissable, definately the game to get on PS3. Its a technical and gameplay marvel.

The Slimline PS3 is being released sometime this year too so it might be worth waiting for that to come out.

Is that confirmed or just more rumour? I'm sure they'll do it eventually since they've done it for the PSone and PS2. I know they're planning to switch to more compact chip architecture but not sure I'd expect a fully redesigned and repackaged PS3 before the end of this year...

On topic, add to the must-have list Burnout Paradise. Cross platform but a great PS3 game. Warhawk's good fun too and Uncharted is excellent. The overall selection is building steadily so just have some patience!

i took the plunge this weekend and bought a ps3 after much searching for the best deals i went with game €444 ps3 + 2 games from a list of 5 or 6 they also had a 3 game pack for 475 included DMC4 ,Assassins creed and ithink drakes uncharted.
i traded in a ps2(dodgy laser) and 10 games and got €127 off, all in all i went home with ps3 drakes,conflict denied ops,nfs pro street and extra controller for €428
