    Hi,
I would appreciate the ladies opinion on this. I've just started dating a really nice girl. We chatted one night in a bar, I got her number and we've been on two dates so far. Both went very well and I'm very much into her and would like to make something of this. The only big issue I have is with intimacy. I'm totally useless at making a move. Anyway I didn't kiss her on the first date because we were just in a restaurant. On the second date I walked her to the taxi rank and just gave her a quick kiss/peck on the lips. She's a bit old fashioned but in a nice was so I didn't want to be coming on too strong and trying to snog the face off her on the street.

    So have I messed up?

Also, any Valentines advice would be great... haven't a clue what to do.

I feel like saying to just lob the gob but i won't be so crass. Kissing is the most natural thing in the world. Don't be worrying about it, just let it happen when you feel a somewhat intimate moment.

Don't see how you've messed up OP.

Take her out for a nice meal on Valentine's day and then maybe go for a walk or something. Walk and talk and then maybe it'll lead to a kiss. Don't force it, when it feels right just go for it! You have nothing to lose.

I dont think you messed up.

Have you tried linking arms and walking closely together, even holding the old hands :)

But plan something rather nice for valentines..thoiugh restaurants may be packed.

As for the kissing. well dont rush it and dont peck on the cheeck.
Try it slowly, just look into her eyes while facing her and slowly kiss her on the lips (not a mouth open tongue waggling)..let her respond. Move in closely but not like an octopus.
Make that first kiss slow and conscious.
If she responds then let it deepen and keep that close contact. If it deepens make it more passionate. If you pull away then smile and look her directly in the eye.
Let her know that way how much you enjoyed it in that smile.
In keeping it slow adn steady...that will increase intimacy.
As for building intimacy, well trust me you can put a hell of a lot of yourself into a look. The look alone can do it if the attraction is there, especiialy if you look into the left eye ;) with your right.

Thanks for the advice. I seems that I'm getting the silent treatment at the moment anyway. No text back or reply to voicemail message.
How often should I contact a girl after a date or between dates? I get the feeling I'm being played a bit.

The awkward pause kiss. My advice is kiss her on the lips next time (hopefully there'll be one) then after a few seconds lean back in and kiss her again. The snog usually follows naturally as part of the second one.

If you haven't heard from her in a couple of days - she could just be busy - text her and say you've been really nervous so far but do like her and would like to see her again. Fact you haven't tried to snog her so far, old fashioned or not, may lead her to think you're not interested
