    HeyHey,
Here's my second shot from this morning. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. For once I didn't go out shooting 50/150shots and instead tried to get good shots first as opposed to taking lots and hoping that a few turned out well when I check them later on the computer.

I'd love to hear your opinions on this, Thanks again!

I assume the horizon was not level where you were shooting??

I'm a sucker for light rays coming through tress and the like and as such, I love this. My only criticism is that the trees look a bit washed out. I would like to see them more properly silhouetted, deep black in colour

Excellent shot. How do you iliminate purple fringing? I can see a tiny bit when i look real closely, around the trunk of the leftmost and rightmost trees.

Really a cracking shot. well done.

Thanks for the comments and advice folks.
It's actually a hdr shot done up quickly (and my first..maybe second at that). I might spend a bit more time on it later. The horizon line is pretty much right, when your standing there the fields go down on the right and there's a hill on the left. It might need to be tweaked a tiny bit, but from looking at the tree's it's fairly correct.

I'd assume thats an element of the lens construction?

    What was it shot with?

    There's some nasty fringing present.

It was taken with a 30D & 17-85. I'd say it's more to do with the HDR Processing than the lense...

Thanks for all the comments :)

Nice work, you've really caught the atmosphere of a crisp misty morning.I have to say I prefer the first one,in the 2nd one I think the colours are a bit over saturated and it takes away from the natural look.
