    Hi All,
I recently uploaded a website which I created in dreamweaver MX4. It looks fine on my laptop but when I went to an internet centre the other day I could only see half the homepage. Is there any quick fix I could use without having to rebuild the site to fit different resolutions. If not what is the solution? I read that the first thing to do is create a table of width and height 100% and place all the elements in it. I'm not sure how to go about this if anybody has some leads I would really appreciate it.
    Thank You

Depending on the design of the site it's usually not that simple. Setting width to 100% would be creating a 'fluid width' website. What you obviously have at the moment is a 'fixed width' website. Try a Google search for those terms to find out more about the differences.

Fixed width websites are usually fine but it's a good idea not to go above 950 pixels in width, as most monitors these days have a 1024x768 display.

If you've designed the site with a fixed width of more than ~1000px then yes, you've made a mistake. It's also possible that the internet cafe you went to had an older display (like 800x600).. but so few people have them anymore that it's usually not worth taking into account.

Fluid width websites are generally more difficult to design as you naturally have to account for a lot of variation in screen width.

Have you got a link to the website you're talking about?
