I can't believe there's still not a replacement for my H140 (4/5 years old) that's good enough to trade the oul dog in for. I check dapreview.net all the time just hoping I'll see a high capacity good quality player. The 160GB iPod classic came so close, if only it was rockboxable! Just have to keep on waiting but it's crazy that a 4/5 year old mp3 player is still technically the best device for music:eek:

yeah it was a great player alright. In the end i got sonys answer to the nano as i didn't need the space & was sick of lugging around the enormous h140

I wan't too fond of rockbox, wasn't compatible with as many filetypes as the iriver firmware, but was great the way it worked when your battery goes dead.

I still use my old H140 several times a week. I now use a Zen M for avi files
and a Zune 80 for most of my music. I can see the Zune replacing my
    H140.
