Does he just sit through episodes of Conan and mimmick his antics?

I've heard him say many a time on his breakfast show 'I saw (insert guest name here) on Conan the other night'
He definitely seems to have borrowed a few things from his show ,the backdrop he uses is almost exactly the same as Conans back in the day, also that cringe inducing audience interaction where he goes up and sits with them.

And while he has all the Conan style tics down to a tee, he just doesn't have the warmth, likeability or brilliant quick wit of Conan.

I don't think he's awful, but he doesn't have as you said the natural charisma of Conan.

    Agreed.

The show is pretty cingeworthy in comparison with the American shows. Really dislike the backdrop, it's trying far too hard. The band is quite embarrassing, a travesty in comparison to those on David Letterman, Johnaton Ross etc.
