Frozen Zen 30GB Vision M - Not the same issue as ones below!!

    I have a 30Gb frozen Zen brought about from a whole other, and probably unique, circumstance. I was hooking it up to my laptop and failed to notice that it had reset itself, a common problem with my own Zen anyways, and so when I connected it to my laptop it was in the middle of rebuilding. I quickly disconnected it and now the rebuild keeps freezing at the point where I disconnected it. I don't really care if the files are lost and i haven't had time to let the battery run out yet but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar? Of all the times this piece of heartbreak MP3 has frozen on me it's never done so in the middle of a rebuild.

    Have you tried resetting it?
    What happens if you connect it via USB to the computer?
    Does it show as connected on either the Zen or the computer?
    Can you see it as an external drive in Windows?
    Can the Creative software see that it's connected?

    Have you tried putting the firmware onto it again?
