    Hi guys

My little brother is looking to buy his next desktop, he is not much of a builder, where else can I buy a good gaming desktop besides Dell and Komplett? Looking to spend no more than 1200 euro

im sure for 1,200 you could get someone here to do it for you.

obviously they would make a small amount, but they would build it for you to your liking.

    failing that,
    komplett.ie build computer's for you.

Komplett, but not as you're thinking: http://www.komplett.ie/k/cc.aspx?bn=10306

Click the "customize" option, to select XP instead of Vista (2GB's of RAM in XP runs better than in Vista), etc.

€779 for their basic one, with a monitor.

Or get a Dell for €749, without a monitor, half the RAM, and a slightly worse video card. Not to mention Dells [sarc]great[/sarc] chance of being able to upgrade your machine later in life...

This crowd can not be beaten for price/performance.....

    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/8VmYO9rBn1p14S/3/pcconfigurator.jsp?pcConfigurator.gpOnly=0

Pick the components and they build it for €20, they install all the software (annoying part of the build) for €35

You could build a monster for €1200

Well if you go to that hardwareversand.de site you can change it to english and use the PC configurator..

For just under 1200 euros.. you could easily get..

A quadcore, with a nice case, branded (corsair/seasonic) psu, 2 gigs of very good ram, 8800gts 512 Overclocked video card (faster than the 8800gt), 500 gig harddrive, nice mobo and a syncmaster 2ms lcd monitor (2ms best for gaming) with change left over for other bits and pieces..
