the game doesnt really work online (connection problems, then when youre in a game the ball tends to disappear and reappear half way up the pitch etc). konami made a real balls of it

your best bet is fifa if you wanna play footie online

yeah i hate fifa but have to admit its miles better online, the lag is horrible online for pro, i never go online anymore with it cos its so frustrating

ah fifa 08 is 10 times the game pro evo 08 is

id expect pro evo 09 to wipe the floor with whatever ea put out this year tho, purely out of necessity coz if they mess it up theyre in real trouble

Don't bother looking for a solution, its not there...

You'll find unbearable lag in 90% of the games you play. PES, as per usual, is a disaster online.

Unfortunately the single player game can't make up for that this year.

Truthfully the game is f****g horrible. A mess . An Embarrassement.

I doubt there will be a queue of people to buy the next PES, I certainly wont. I'm going to rent out FIFA and see whats its like before I buy.

fifa will take you a while to get into, its very much a sim as opposed to pro evos new arcade stylings

expect LOTS of passing and build up play to get a sniff of even so much as the oppositions area for the first while

its worth it tho, amazing game

the be a pro online feature is the business too, 5 humans and 6 computer controlled players on each team, you only control one player in the match. its very very good, apart from the kids who get the ball and try and run the length of the pitch themselves
