Hate lotteries (tax on stupidity etc) but the girlfriend asked me to go halves on some tickets tonight so i have to now.

How does buying the tickets work? Is it like the lotto where its a few euros a line and there's a minimum spend/number of lines etc?

Their website is blocked in work!

    Go to shop
Ask for X amount of Euromillions lines
    Pay
Go home and see if you've won.

    Not that hard.

I know but no idea how much a line costs, what the minimum number of lines is etc that was the main jist of my post had you read it properly

Minimum number of lines is 10

Cost is €2 iirc without plus.

€2 a line, plus is €1 extra. Maximum lines per sheet is 5, minimum play is 1 line. Obviously you can fill in as many sheets as you like. You can choose quickpick like the National lotto or choose five numbers and two bonus numbers (lucky stars) per panel.

Buy them at any National lotto machine, they're one and the same.

What's the closing time for tonight's draw?

Still stuck in work. If I don't get out in time I wonder if I could sue them for the €130 million :)

I think "no" is a word missing from most wimminz dictionaries to be honest. :)

Hey honey, will you go halves with me on a Euromillions ticket?
    No.
    What?
    No.
    What do you mean "no"?
    No.No.No.
    I don't understand.

Ha! I wonder if you could. If you pick the same numbers every week and can prove it and work prevents you from getting your bet on maybe....

7.30 is the cut off time.

Anyone know what time the draw is at? I'm trying to find tonight's results. All official sites are blocked as 'gambling' on my work pooter. RTE etc still have last week's results up.

    Have I won yet?

Cheers, was able to pop out and get some.

    Winning numbers were 17,28,30,38,44
    Lucky stars 01,04

at odds of 76,000,000 / 1 you have more chance of being struck by lightning TWICE.

Still - I did it and had 1 number.

Slightly off topic. But if you want to know what numbers to pick there is some good analysis around.

Basically you want to pick numbers other people do not. so that when you do win you share with less people and so win more.
To do this generally pick high numbers and try to have two numbers in a row somewhere in your pick.
There are sites that do the analysis of what lottery picks are rare
